Definition of TaeKwon-Do
TaeKwon-Do is a Korean martial art of self defense.
Literally translated, "Tae" means to kick or smash with the foot.
"Kwon" means to punch or destroy with the hand.
"Do" means the art or way.
TaeKwon-Do is a very effective form of self defense that emphasizes the importance of the tenets and the student oath.
